Fishing Report for Tues, Oct 11th

WE ARE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK!
The pier is open up to the "T" until it can be professionally repaired. PLEASE DO NOT PASS THE BARRICADE! It is for your safety.

****PLEASE BRING YOUR BATTERY-OPERATED LAMPS, HEADLAMPS, AND FLASHLIGHTS (NOTHING WITH A FLAME). We have one phase of power out in the building that is affecting the lights up close. Something blew in the transformer outside the building today, and we have no idea when Dominion will get it fixed since it's not something we can fix.****

We have had several short runs of Spot, off and on today. They have been smaller for some reason and have been running in no predictable way.

We have also had a bunch of "keeper" Puppy Drum (Red Drum) today. They have been biting up close and most people are using either cut bait, finger mullet, clams, or clam Fishbites.

***PLEASE READ THE PIER RULES AND ETIQUETTE POSTED AT THE TOP OF OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!
When we are crowded and busy:
SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!
ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!
DO NOT SPREAD OUT!
CAST ONLY IN FRONT OF YOU!

PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT. DO NOT MESSAGE US ASKING FOR A FISHING REPORT!

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC
