Fishing Report for Thursday, Sept 15th

WE ARE STILL OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY!
The wind has gone NE and LOTS OF SPOT ARE BITING!! They have been mostly pan-sized to larger. They are also getting a few nice-sized Croaker.

They've gotten some Puppy Drum (Red Drum) today too. Only 3 "keepers" so far, but hopefully we will get more.

It is windy, so make sure you dress appropriately. The wind should stay NE through Saturday. It should go SE to S on Sunday, and then NW and back to NE on Monday. We will refrain from speculating further since weather reports around here can change by the minute.

SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!
ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!
DO NOT SPREAD OUT!

PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT.

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC Regs are here:
https://webapps.mrc.virginia.gov/public/reports/swrecfishingrules.php

They are getting a few Crabs, here and there, but they are definitely not biting anywhere near as well as before the tropical storm.

Please follow some common "Fishermans' Etiquette" while you are out there:

•BE COURTEOUS
