Fishing Report for Wed, Sept 14th

WE ARE STILL OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY!
They had a good run of Spot this morning sometime between 3am and 9am (as I predicted ;o). We've had Spot most of the day off the end as well, though they are coming in small runs with a little lull in between. They are mostly biting off the end. There were also a hand full of Croaker.

We did have a few people trying for Speckled Trout. They got a few, but none big enough to keep. We're unsure of anyone caught and Puppy Drum today.

The wind will be SW by early morning. This SHOULD mean that fish will bite slightly better on the outgoing tide, and they SHOULD bite pretty good between 3am and 9am. It's supposed to go NE again sometime Thursday morning.

PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT.

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC Regs are here:

They are getting a few Crabs, here and there, but they are definitely not biting anywhere near as well as before the tropical storm.
