Fishing Report for Tues, Oct 18th

WE ARE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK!

The pier is open up to the "T" until it can be professionally repaired.  PLEASE DO NOT PASS THE BARRICADE! It is for your safety.

The SW wind is not doing us any favors, but we are getting some good runs of Spot on the INCOMING TIDES. We've had at least 2 good runs tonight, though a little shorter than one would hope, they were still catching them 2 at a time while they were running. Tomorrow, be here at 7am or 7pm to catch the whole incoming tides.

We also had several "keeper" Speckled Trout this evening.

The Southerly winds are scheduled to continue through Fri morning. By Friday night, the wind is supposed to be NW and kick up to 20mph. That NW wind will continue through Saturday, switching back to Southerly on Sunday, and then heading back from the North on Monday.

We do not have a set closing date yet. As long as the weather holds and fishing and business remains good, we should still be open. We will post a closing date as soon as we know what that will be.

***PLEASE READ THE PIER RULES AND ETIQUETTE POSTED AT THE TOP OF OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!

When we are crowded and busy:

SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!

ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!

DO NOT SPREAD OUT!

CAST ONLY IN FRONT OF YOU!

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC
