Fishing Report for Sunday, Oct 30th

WE ARE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK!
The pier is open up to the "T" until it can be professionally repaired. PLEASE DO NOT PASS THE BARRICADE! It is for your safety.

Day fishing was a little slow today because of that southerly wind. Things are starting to pick up tonight though. They're getting Speckled Trout, a few Spot (that are still steadily getting bigger) and even some Bluefish. That should continue to pick up when the wind switched back to the North.

Cut Bait and Finger Mullet will catch the Puppy Drum. Shrimp will catch the Specks. Bloodworms will catch the Spot (Fishbites are not working as well unless you are using the red package. Sorry, we only carry the blue package). Bluefish will bit anything.

The wind will be heading more Northerly around 1am, and be due North at 3am and will steadily increase in speed until it reaches 15mph around lunchtime and then will slow back down some. The wind will remain N to NE through at least 8am on Tuesday.

We do not have a set closing date yet. As long as the weather holds and fishing and business remains good, we should still be open. We will post a closing date as soon as we know what that will be.

***PLEASE READ THE PIER RULES AND ETIQUETTE POSTED AT THE TOP OF OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!
When we are crowded and busy:

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC
