Fishing Report for Tues, Sept 27th

We've been having some really good Spot runs on the incoming tides today. It's been a bit slower on the outgoing.

The wind will be switching from SSE to SW and then to NW sometime around 3am (just in time for the next incoming tide), however by 11AM it will be SE again. Right now the future-cast has a SE wind at least through Thurs morning.

The water temp has finally dropped down to around 75. Let hope it doesn't decide to warm up again ;o)

When we are crowded and busy:
SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!
ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!
DO NOT SPREAD OUT! CAST ONLY IN FRONT OF YOU!

PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT.

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC Regs are here:

A few Crabs may be still hanging around, but they won't pot. Just a reminder to everyone that WE DO NOT GIVE OUT INDIVIDUAL FISHING REPORTS VIA MESSENGER. Please continue to check our Newsfeed and if our report is not up to date enough for you, please feel free to call for the latest fishing report 757-481-7071. (New reports may not be posted on Sundays and Mondays because tech support is not available.)
