We've been having really good runs of Spot on both of the daily incoming tides the last three days. Today we had a run on the end that lasted about 4 hours. We're hoping they will continue to do the same tonight. The next tide will start in at midnight and be High at 5am on Sun morning.
They have been catching a few on the outgoing tides, but you have to work for them.
They are still getting a few Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout, but they haven't been having real runs of them. Most have been just undersized.
When we are crowded and busy:
SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!
ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!
DO NOT SPREAD OUT!
CAST ONLY IN FRONT OF YOU!
PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT.
Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC Regs are here:

A few Crabs may be still hanging around, but they won't pot.
