Fishing Report for Thurs, Oct 22st/ Early Fri, Oct 23nd

Today we had a mix of the following:
A few Spot, Roundhead, Taylor Blues, small Flounder, and lots of undersized Speckled Trout. We also, surprisingly, had a few crabs - which is weird and we can't say that that trend will continue.

We recently spoke with a lady up in Gloucester who said they had been getting big Spot up there over the last few weeks but that they have recently disappeared. Since the Bay temp is now below 65 degrees, we can start hoping for that Spot migration run since it seems likely that they are on the move South.

The wind should start moving in a Northerly direction around 8am and get up to 16mph around 1pm, but will die down to between 7 and 9mph after that. It will wind up being NE. Saturday is supposed to be ENE around 10mph.

It is a little chilly overnight, but it is not frigid. As long as you dress appropriately (long pants, sweatshirt, jacket, coat, etc.) you should be just fine. We're always happy to keep the coffee pot on!

Remember...
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!
