We've had some small runs of Spot overnight/early in the morning. They've been getting a bunch of Speckled Trout again; 3 keepers so far! They've been getting a few Taylor Blues and small Black Drum as well.
We recently spoke with a lady up in Gloucester who said they had been getting big Spot up there over the last few weeks but that they have recently disappeared. Since the Bay temp is now below 65 degrees, we can start hoping for that Spot migration run since it seems likely that they are on the move South.
It is a little chilly overnight, but it is not frigid. As long as you dress appropriately (long pants, sweatshirt, jacket, coat, etc.) you should be just fine. We're always happy to keep the coffee pot on!
