Fishing Report for Tues, Oct 4th

WE ARE STILL OPEN 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS A WEEK!!

We've been having some great runs of Spot! As of this post (Tues, Oct 4 @almost 5pm), they just finished a 2 at a time run. They ran like that this morning as well, and they will run again. Runs have been a little unpredictable and occasionally short on the outgoing tides, and we've had longer runs on the incoming. Some runs have been on the end, some in the middle, and some up and down the pier. Live bloodworms have seemed to be doing better than the Fishbites. Wind is currently NE at 22mph and the next high tide is just after midninght.

PLEASE CALL 757-481-7071 OVERNIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR AN UPDATED REPORT. WE DO NOT GIVE OUT INDIVIDUAL FISHING REPORTS VIA MESSENGER.

**Regarding Hurricane Matthew - We will not be making decisions on whether or not to temporarily close until later in the week. As soon as we know something, we will post it.

When we are crowded and busy:
SHARE THE END OF THE PIER WITH EVERYONE!
ONLY 2 RODS MAY BE USED AT ONCE!
DO NOT SPREAD OUT!
CAST ONLY IN FRONT OF YOU!

Be careful... We have seen a lot of under-sized Red Drum and under-sized Speckled Trout recently. Red Drum must be a Min 18 IN. to a Max 26 IN.; you can keep 3. Specks must be bigger than 14 IN. (only 1 may be bigger than 24 IN.); you can keep 5. VMRC Regs are here:

A few Crabs may be still hanging around, but they won't pot.

Just a reminder to everyone that WE DO NOT GIVE OUT INDIVIDUAL FISHING REPORTS VIA MESSENGER on Facebook. Please continue to check our Newsfeed and if our report is not up to date enough for you, please feel free to call for the latest fishing report 757-481-7071. (New reports may not be posted on Sundays and Mondays because tech support is not available.)
