Fishing Report for Sat, May 28th

It is Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and Crabbing continues to be EXCELLENT! We are seeing numbers that we typically don't see until late June. (Please make yourself aware of current crabbing regulations. You can find a link to all regulations by clicking the info link in this post.)

CRABBING REGULATIONS can be found at…/recfish&crabrules.shtm
We STRONGLY recommend reading them.

Last night they caught some Roundhead (Whiting/Sea Mullet/ Southern Kingfish) just after dark, but they were small. They caught more later on, overnight, and they were mostly pan-size. Early this morning were some Croaker and Bluefish. You kind of have to be here when they bite.

If our report is not up to date enough for you, please feel free to call for the latest fishing report 757-481-7071.

Just a reminder to everyone that we do not give out individual fishing reports via messenger. Please continue to check our Newsfeed or call 757–481–7071 for updated fishing reports.

All our info can be found here:

Water temp is here:
Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel 65.5 degrees
First Landing/Cape Henry 71.7 degrees

(For the most accurate tides, use Cape Henry and/or Lynnhaven Inlet for the address - the pier is about half-way between the two points)
